Megan Wants a Millionaire contestant Ryan Jenkins, who was wanted by police in the murder of his model wife, was found dead in a Canadian motel. VH1 has officially cancelled Millionaire, by the way.

– Former Miss California Carrie Prejean is reportedly in talks to be one of the contestants on the next season of Donald Trump‘s Celebrity Apprentice.

– Speaking of beauty pageants, how embarrassing was the Heidi Montag performance on the Miss Universe pageant?

– BET may pick up The CW comedy The Game.

– Really, Simon? I almost always agree with Simon Cowell‘s American Idol assessments, but he called this X-Factor performance the “best first audition I have ever heard.” It’s okay, but, really, the best ever?

Deadline Hollywood Daily reports that Nielsen has released the results of “awareness studies” re: the new fall TV series, and, most surprising in the report: The low scores for NBC’s Community. The show, one of the best pilots I’ve seen amongst the glut of new fall 2009 series, BTW, has been promoted pretty heavily …

– That Guiding Light Sept. 18 series finale is getting closer and closer. The New York Post has a peek at the cast’s wrap party in New York.

Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry says the show’s sixth season will feature a “Who Shot J.R.”-type mystery storyline.

– So, which Family Guy “Where’s My Emmy?” spoof is your favorite? I gotta go with the Entourage clip, if only because the show has become so mock-worthy this season.
