So you call yourself a TV expert, do ya? This fun, addictive book will challenge that!
The hefty tome, the fifth in Chronicle Books’ Obsessed With … series, features 2,500 questions about TV shows, stars and characters, and, the coolest part, includes an attached electronic scoring system that lets you play solo or against another so-called boob tube expert.
The coolest, coolest part: TVScreener.com has a copy of the book, along with a $10 Starbucks gift card (trivia-ing is thirsty work!).
Sample questions from Obsessed With TV: Which maverick filmmaker played an Elvis impersonator on an episode of Golden Girls? How Many children are in the Walton family? On Dexter, what comic book character results from the discovery of Dexter’s handiwork? CNN host Anderson Cooper hosted the first season of what reality series? What’s the name of the company George works for on The Jetsons? And what does the E in ESPN stand for? (Feel free to share your guesses to any of the questions along with your entry in the comments).

Newlywed Game

I mean Jeopardy!
Jeopardy. I’m a nerd, what can I say?
Match Game was, is, and will always be the greatest game show of all time!
Family Feud
The recent passing of 1 of the hosts reminded me how much I enjoyed Remote Control.
card sharks and the one with the whammy guy
I remember seeing games like “What’s My Line” in reruns.
Perhaps due to my <3 of food, I was always partial to the cheesiness (pun intended) of Supermarket Sweep.
I really enjoy Wheel of Fortune.
I’m old, but Hollywood Squares!
I am pretty sure I remember Anderson Cooper hosting the first season of The Amazing Race.
And my very favorite game show has got to be
Hollywood Squares
now that was funny.
For all of its double-entendre action, my favorite game show was Match Game. Plus it was handy since you always knew whaty ear it was by the title of the show (ex: Match Game ’74, Mathc Game ’77, etc.)
BTW, Anderson Cooper hosted the first season of “The Mole”. Phil Keoghan has been hosting Amazing Race since Day 1.
Thanks Kelvin I knew Anderson was on something. I forgot about “The Mole”.
The Price is Right.
It has to be Jeopardy.
Moment of Truth?
Jeopardy!!
My all-time favorite TV game show is definitely The Price is Right!
The Price is Right
Family Feud
My favorite game show of all-time is The Price is Right
Hmmm Family Feud…. but Price is Right is a close second!
Family Feud is my all time favorite.
Thank you for the chance to win!
I used to love Card Sharks when I was a kid
