What says Thanksgiving more than a feast of popcorn, buttered toast, pretzel sticks and jelly beans? That, of course, is the meal Snoopy prepares for Charlie Brown and his pals in the classic A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving (one of my all-time faves), which is included in the Peanuts Holiday Collection, TVScreener.com‘s giveaway of the day!
In addition to the 1973 Turkey Day special, the box set also includes the classics A Charlie Brown Christmas from 1965 and 1966’s It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, plus the ‘toons It’s Christmastime Again, Charlie Brown, It’s Magic, Charlie Brown and The Mayflower Voyages, plus featurettes A Christmas Miracle: The Making of A Charlie Brown Christmas, We Need a Blockbuster, Charlie Brown and Popcorn and Jellybeans: Making a Thanksgiving Classic.
As a TVScreener.com bonus, we’re also including the A Charlie Brown Christmas: A Book-and-Tree Kit, which includes a mini book on the CB holiday classic, plus an adorable mini version of Charlie Brown’s sad little Christmas tree, wrapped with Linus’ blue blanket. It’s the perfect holiday desk toy!

Charlie Sheen, Russell Brand and Louis C.K. are getting most of the attention, but I’m most excited that one of the best new shows of last TV season — Wilfred — returns for its second season on FX tonight (10PM ET). Season one of the series ended with a cliffhanger — had Ryan (Elijah Wood) […]
My absolute favorite holiday special is “A Charlie Brown Christmas”..and I’m not just saying that cuz you are giving away the DVD collection. 😉
Truly, my eyes welled up with tears the first time I saw this special at age 7, when Charlie Brown’s friends decorated that old dilapidated Christmas tree. ~30 years later, when my 8-year-old daughter saw it last year, she did the same thing.
Timeless.
My favorite is Rudolph! Never miss him!
Frosty the Snowman!
“It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” — just awesome. I watched it this past Halloween-season when they played it on ABC.
“I got a rock.” Hahaha.
My all-time favorite holiday special is without a doubt “A Charlie Brown Christmas.” No matter how many times I’ve seen it it still manages to make me a little teary-eyed and joyful.
Though it’s not a TV special, I look forward to “A Christmas Story” marathon every year.
A Charile Brown Christmas is my favorite too. We watch it without fail every year.
How the Grinch Stole Christmas is my favorite!
My favorite is The Grinch (Jim Carrey style) It ain’t Christmas if we don’t watch The Grinch.
How to Grinch Stole Christmas, classic and I love it.
My all time favorite is one that is in this box set:
“It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.”
Have to go with How the Grich Stole Christmas and Charlie Brown Christmas, it’s a tie.
It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown
I just love the idea of something like a Halloween deity.
I’m also sort of hooked on ABC Family’s 25 Days of Christmas. There’s something oddly comforting about cheesy holiday flicks.
“A Colbert Christmas: The Greatest Gift of All!” Stephen can do no wrong.
I’m a huge Grinch fan from childhood, so “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”
My favorite is Frosty the Snowman
