With thousands of recipes submitted from home cooks across America, Ultimate Recipe Showdown (Sundays, 9PM ET, Food Network) has returned for a third season of delicious competition, as the top 24 contestants slice, dice and battle head-to-head for national glory.

Hosted by Guy Fieri (Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives, Guy’s Big Bite and NBC’s Minute to Win It), the series covers six categories: Comfort  Food, Party Food, Hot & Spicy, Burgers, Cakes & Desserts and Hometown Favorites.

    Good Eats is my number one, followed by Unwrapped, Food Network Challenge, Chopped, and Throwdown. I love the Food Network!

    I enjoy all of the shows on Food Network, but Ten Dollar Dinners with Melissa is definitely one of my favorites. She provides great practical tips, and as someone who is self-employed and has kids and grandkids around, I use her advice and her recipes.

    My favorite is definitely Barefoot Contessa. Ina Garten is an amazing cook, and she is calm, cool and collected.

    good eats is great need some new episdes and i really miss feasting on asphalt but diners driveins and dives is a family fav too
