Potts Picks: Today’s Best TV

10PM | TNT
Men of a Certain Age
– The show is back for summer episodes of its second season, as Joe (Ray Romano) visits Manfro, his bookie, who’s about to undergo a delicate medical procedure; Terry (Scott Bakula) and Erin move forward in their relationship; and Owen (Andre Braugher) gets an interesting opportunity … from a competing car dealership.

American Pickers
– Keeping up with the network’s Civil War Week, the Pickers dudes search for collectibles on behalf of the Gettysburg Museum, then take part in a Civil War re-enactment.

Franklin & Bash
– Zack Morris (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) as one-half of a young pair of spunky attorneys … take that, Mr. Belding!

Man v. Food Nation
– In back-to-back eps of the Man v. Food spin-off, Adam travels to Connecticut to cheer on a college freshman who’s trying to eat 10 grilled cheese sandwiches in an hour, followed by a trip to Florida to coach a pro wrassler who’s trying to down 10 crazy-hot hot wings.

9:30PM | TLC
Extreme Couponing
– A stay-at-home mom and super couponer in Idaho takes her husband on one of her big coupon trips, hoping to spark his interest in big, big savings.

Hollywood Treasure
– Back-to-back episodes include gems like a cast-signed copy of The Wizard of Oz book, puppets and props from The Nightmare Before Christmas and cyborg heads from Terminator Salvation.

The Real World: Las Vegas
– The last few seasons have been tired, but you can’t say the show’s return to Vegas has been without major drama. Neither, of course, will the season end without a big dose of hubbub with the roomies.

The World According to Paris
– Is this new reality series another attempt to make you think Paris Hilton is famous for something other than being famous? Yes. Is it successful? That’s your call. But, no.

Worth flipping to during commercials:
– The delightful Melissa McCarthy, Mike & Molly star and scene-stealer of Bridesmaids, guests on the Ellen DeGeneres Show (Check local listings for time and channel);

– Classic Happy Days (10PM, The Hub): Joanie goes on a date with Spike, The Fonz’s lookalike nephew;
Rick and his Pawn Star$ cohorts are offered a 1915 Model T Ford (10PM, History);
– The new series Sand Masters (10PM, Travel) follows a team of sand sculptors, and no, we’re not talking about the stuff your kids build with their buckets at the beach … these are elaborate sculptures and real works of art;
– Butters is diagnosed with multiple personality disorder on South Park (10PM, Comedy Central);
– On Top Chef Masters (10PM), the culinary whizzes have to whip up tasty treats at a science fair;
