More of my reactions to the nominations later today, but, as always, there was much to love — nods for Timothy Olyphant, Melissa McCarthy, Betty White, Walton Goggins and Margo Martindale, for example — and much to hate on (no Justified nod as Best Drama??? For reals, Emmy people? Where’s Sons of Anarchy, Katey Sagal, The Walking Dead, Community? And MORE tired nominations for The Office, Steve Carell and Hugh Laurie?) in the primetime Emmy nominations announcement this morning.

The morning’s most charming moment was definitely the reaction of announcer/first-time nominee McCarthy, who deserved a nomination back in her Gilmore Girls days, and is so deserving of all the great things that are happening for her since her scene, eh, actually, movie-stealing performance in Bridesmaids.
