Potts Picks: Today’s Best TV

Bethenny Ever After
– Her Skating With the Stars competition comes to an end, but Bethenny begins her big bus tour and gets some life-changing news about her SkinnyGirl liquor business.

– Ugh. It’s supposed to be all about Sarah and Chuck’s wedding, but creepy Vivian, who’s not only the worst, least interesting character in show history, but played by one of the worst actresses to appear on the show (seriously … she can’t stay in one accent for more than a few seconds), messes things up by messing with Chuck’s mama and Morgan.

– Does House have a new addiction? His team suspects he does. Meanwhile, after he loses a boxing match bet to Wilson, House tries to help rehab an aging boxer.

How I Met Your Mother
– Ted and Zoey? Kaput tonight. Thank. Goodness.

Chicago Code
– While Teresa tries to do something about the corrupt promotion process in the police department without tipping off Gibbons about her long-range plans, Jarek has personal troubles when Vonda gets an anonymous package.

The Event
– Sean and Vicky try to save thousands of lives while Sophia forges ahead with her plans to wipeout, well, everyone.

Gossip Girl
– Uncle Jack is back! And, of course, that spells trouble for his nephew, Chuck.

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia
– This week’s four-episode block is packed with gems, including “The Waitress Is Getting Married” (9PM) and “Paddy’s Pub: Home of the Original Kitten Mittens,” both especially good Charlie Day episodes. Though, as any true Sunny fan knows, Charlie spells it “kitten mittons.”

10PM | ABC
– When Miss Illinois is found murdered during the “Baron’s All-American Beauty Pageant,” Castle and Beckett find there’s no lack of suspects, including the pageant host, sponsor and several other contestants. The episode’s clever title: “Pretty Dead.”

10PM | MTV
Hard Times of RJ Berger
– Miles joins the cheerleading squad in an effort to get healthier, while RJ deals with more fallout from his parents’ divorce.

Worth flipping to during commercials:
– Adrianna goes after Navid on 90210 (8PM, The CW);
– In week eight competition, each of the remaining pairs performs two numbers on Dancing With the Stars (8PM, ABC);
– Grace helps Arian shop for a wedding dress on Secret Life of the American Teenager (8PM, ABC Family);
Adam checks out giant handmade lollipops and key lime pie on a stick on Kid in a Candy Store (8:30PM, Food Network);
Senior considers making a settlement offer to Junior on American Chopper: Senior vs. Junior (9PM, Discovery);
Guy Fieri kicks off the 12th season of Diners, Drive-ins and Dives (9PM, Food Network);
– Sasha tells Kaylie she’s not on the team on Make It or Break It (9PM, ABC Family);
– It’s the series finale of Stargate Universe (9PM, Syfy);
– Danny is exposed to a lethal chemical agent on Hawaii Five-O (10PM, CBS);
– A college student is strangled to death on Law & Order: Los Angeles (10PM, NBC);
– Jackie gets her hand on a new stash of drugs, but she may need more when she sees Eddie and O’Hara leaving the hospital together on Nurse Jackie (10PM, Showtime);
Elvis Presley‘s medical records and a letter signed by Helen Keller are among the goodies on Pawn Star$ (10PM, History);
– The mother of missing high school student Natalee Holloway hosts Vanished with Beth Holloway (10PM, Lifetime), a new series that examines unsolved abduction cases.

And the late-night line-up:
Conan (11PM, TBS): Anthony Hopkins and Demetri Martin;
The Daily Show with Jon Stewart (11PM, Comedy Central): Keira Knightley;
The Colbert Report (11:30PM, Comedy Central): Lupe Fiasco;
The Late Show with David Letterman (11:35PM, CBS): Albert Brooks and Kristen Wiig;
The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (11:35PM, NBC): Jennifer Lopez and Jesse Tyler Ferguson;
Lopez Tonight (Midnight, TBS): Sinbad;
Jimmy Kimmel Live (12:05AM, ABC): Rob Lowe;
Late Night with Jimmy Fallon (12:35AM, NBC): Chelsea Handler;
The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson (12:37AM, CBS): Jeff Goldblum and Sarah Chalke;
