10PM | STARZ – SERIES PREMIERE
Torchwood: Miracle Day
– Even if you weren’t a viewer of the original Torchwood, this U.S. remake, which finds Captain Jack Harness (John Barrowman) and company investigating why no one on Earth is dying anymore, will hook you. And Bill Pullman, as convicted rapist/murderer Oswald Danes, who survives an execution and is then set free? Nearly unrecognizable physically, and creepily good as a guy who’s going to prove to be, um, complicated.

Friday Night Lights
– I can barely even think or write about this penultimate episode of FNL without tearing up, so be warned that Eric and Tami’s dilemma, Riggins’ reunion with a fellow Panther alum and Grandma Saracen – especially Grandma Saracen – are gonna have you wiping the salty discharge from your eyes, too.

9PM | TRAVEL CHANNEL
Paranormal Challenge
– Host Zak Bagans says the Ohio State Reformatory is one of the most haunted places he’s ever visited. It’s also the prison used in The Shawshank Redemption.

Killer Shots
– The new series follows wildlife photog Andy Casagrande (how awesome is that name?) as he goes to some dangerous lengths to get the perfect shot. In the opener, he leaves a diving cage to get an up close shark photo.

Say Yes to the Dress: It’s not just for bridezillas anymore.

Young, Broke & Beautiful

Flea Man
