Falling Skies
Steven Spielberg is the executive producer of this series about the aftermath of an alien invasion of earth. 10 episodes are on tap for the first season, which stars Noah Wyle as Tom Mason, a Boston professor who’s acting as a leader of the citizens trying to resist the aliens, while also trying to protect his three sons. In short, the Jericho-y (with a dash of V) series is a must-see.

4-10PM, SAT & SUN | SUNDANCE
The Killing
Marathon – As a prep for Sunday night’s 1st season finale, Sundance airs the whole season of sister network AMC’s buzzworthy drama.

8PM, SUN | CBS
38th Annual Daytime Emmys
Let’s Make a Deal remake host Wayne Brady – himself a very deserving nominee for Outstanding Game Show Host – hosts the Daytime Emmys live from Las Vegas, where Pat Sajak and Alex Trebek receive Lifetime Achievement Awards and an ever-dwindling number of daytime soaps are honored.

9PM, SUN | NBC
2011 Miss USA Pageant
– The main, okay, only, reason to watch: Andy Cohen‘s co-hosting.

9PM, SUN | LIFETIME – 3RD SEASON PREMIERE
Drop Dead Diva
Paula Abdul and Wendy Williams guest star in the season opener, as Jane (Brooke Elliott) waits for Grayson to wake up from his coma and works a hit-and-run case in which a bad boy celeb is the accused.

9PM, SUN | HBO – 1ST SEASON FINALE
Game of Thrones
– Catelynn demands answers from Jaime about her son’s fall and Khaleesi finds new hope.

10PM, SUN | AMC – 1ST SEASON FINALE
The Killing
– Mitch and Stan consider the future of their family, while Orpheus’ ID sheds light on the case in the season finale.

Real Housewives of New Jersey
– It’s a double dose of family drama when Teresa has sitdowns with both her brother Joe and his wife Melissa.
