It’s one of the coolest, most unique contests ever … The Weather Channel is giving one viewer, anywhere in the country, even the non-snowy areas, a chance to enjoy a snowy holiday with the Guaranteed White Christmas contest.

The deets: Now through December 6, submit a short video explaining why you “deserve the ultimate gift of snow on Christmas Day.” A panel of judges will choose one grand prize winner (based on the uniqueness and creativity of the video), who will have their home blanketed in real snow, and have a Weather Channel crew broadcasting from their home on Christmas morning.

Five runners-up will win $100 gift cards for the Weather Channel store and an autographed Aaron Neville CD – not a bad little gifty, either.
