All you need: Justin Bieber-ish bangs, a couple of gaudy rings for each hand, the ugliest long-sleeved Ed Hardy shirt you can find and the willingness to make up groups of nonsensical items, one-word club names (“Trash,” “Slice” and “Gush”) and spoofs of celeb names (Gay Dunaway, Gay Liotta, Tranny Griffith). The rest is all attitude.

Not everyone will know who you are, of course … There will be a lot more Snookis and Bart Simpsons and even Kenny Powerses than there will be Stefons. But the people who do get your costume will appreciate it, and you and your fellow Stefon fans can bond over your Saturday Night Live love.
