Been waiting on the May 22 release of John Mayer‘s new CD, Born and Raised, and today, he released the first video from the album: “Shadow Days.”
Some amazing scenery, and it’s one of those infectious songs that was stuck in my head the first time I heard it.
And, I dare you to watch the video and not have a hankering to embark on a major road trip.
P.S.: You can preview all the songs on Born and Raised at iTunes.
OK, OK, it’s been awhile since there was a new post … but TVScreener.com will be back with good stuff daily in 2012!
In the meantime, here’s my pick for funniest TV video of the year: Triumph the Insult Comic Dog’s trip to Occupy Wall Street. Warning: there are some spit-your-Coke Zero-at-the-monitor funny moments in the clip.
Enjoy the rest of 2011, and here’s hoping 2012 starts off to be your best year ever!
And that’s the last pun I’ll attempt, because this clip of Anderson Cooper, delivering his “RidicuList” entry on French actor Gerard Depardieu‘s public urination incident, on last night’s AC 360, is not only rife with pretty much every pun you can imagine, but also provides the priceless opportunity to see Mr. Cooper dissolve into giggles on air.

Season 7 kicks off on September 15 (10PM ET, FX), and in these cheeky new promos for It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, we see that star Rob McElhenney‘s intentional 50-pound weight gain is indeed one of the storylines.
The second clip, spoofing The Miracle Worker, revolves around Charlie Day‘s Charlie and Danny DeVito‘s Frank, whose on-screen chemistry is one of the best things about the show.
Season 7 promises to be another great addition to the Sunny history, as Charlie Day told me earlier this year that season 7 storylines will include a poke at Facebook, Frank’s reunion with his brother (the two became estranged after fighting about a woman) and a spoof of kiddie beauty pageants.
For those of us who didn’t make it to San Diego for Comic-Con this year (sad), Entertainment Weekly (or, “Entertainment Geekly” as the mag is referring to itself this week … hey, it’s too clever NOT to go there) is streaming live Con coverage, complete with interviews with TV and movie celebs, movie clips and coverage from the Con floor.
Keep checking in throughout the rest of the week and the weekend, as you never know what you’ll happen upon …
Charlie Sheen, Russell Brand and Louis C.K. are getting most of the attention, but I’m most excited that one of the best new shows of last TV season — Wilfred — returns for its second season on FX tonight (10PM ET). Season one of the series ended with a cliffhanger — had Ryan (Elijah Wood) […]
