I have to admit, I was fully prepared not to like Glee. I wasn’t in a glee club or choir in high school, can’t sing a note that any human ear would want to hear and am not a big fan of Broadway musicals. But I do love music, and I do love a good teen drama and a good underdog tale, and Glee is all about great tunes, great teen drama and a group of endearing underdogs.
This TVScreener.com giveaway is all about the show’s music, as in the Glee: The Music, Volume 1 soundtrack CD. From the fantastic cast cover of Journey‘s “Don’t Stop Believin” and Lea Michele‘s beautiful, sad version of Rihanna‘s “Take a Bow” to Kevin McHale‘s cover of Billy Idol‘s “Dancin’ With Myself” and Mark Salling‘s Neil Diamond-approved cover of “Sweet Caroline,” the Glee soundtrack has become one of my favorite CDs this fall, and it makes a great soundtrack for your own work day.
And to enter for a chance to win one of two Glee soundtrack CDs, remember:
– Leave a comment on this post, with your name, your favorite song that the Glee-ers have sung so far this season and an e-mail address where we can reach you
– Deadline to enter to win the Glee soundtrack CDs is December 2 at 8PM ET (according to recorded comment time)
– The winner will be chosen by random, using Random.org’s Random Number Generator
– The winner will be announced on the evening of December 2, as an update to this post
Good luck, Glee-ful readers, and stay tuned for the rest of our It’s a Very TVScreener.com Christmas 25-Day Giveaway!
