– The Eminem/Bruno (Sacha Baron Cohen) brouhaha from the MTV Movie Awards got all the press, but how deliciously campy was it when Kristin Cavallari showed up at Spencer and Heidi‘s wedding wearing the exact same color dress as her old Laguna Beach enemy Lauren Conrad on last night’s ep of The Hills?

– More Hills news: The stars of the show are upset that Paris Hilton called their show fake. Insert your own joke here about the pot calling the kettle fake.

– BTW, the winners at last night’s Andy Samberg-hosted MTV Movie Awards included Heath Ledger for Best Villain and waaaaaay too many popcorn statues for the Twilight cast.

– Wanna guarantee yourself a reality TV deal? Apparently fertility drugs, and a heaping side dish of crazy, are the answer. As creepy as she is, Octomom Nadya Suleman has signed a deal to film a series starring her brood, though no American network has agreed to air it. Yet. Meanwhile, did you know that she actually likes the Octomom nickname, so much so that she’s trying to trademark it?

– Bob Saget‘s Surviving Suburbia couldn’t survive the summer TV line-up. Better Off Ted, meanwhile, will get some summer lovin’ from ABC, as the quirky comedy rejoins the line-up on June 23.

– Susan Boyle losing Britain’s Got Talent … as shocking as Adam Lambert losing American Idol?

– Ray Romano talks about his upcoming dramedy, how he thinks Jay Leno‘s new show will do and about what he watches on TV. Hint: Lots of reality stuff and 24.

– And speaking of 24, Freddie Prinze Jr. as a wannabe Jack Bauer and now Forrest Gump‘s Mykelti Williamson as the new Bill Buchanan on the next season of 24 … it’s almost sounding like a whole new show, isn’t it?

– The Sunday New York Times magazine has a great profile of Conan O’Brien, as he prepares to begin his stint as the new host of The Tonight Show. And yes, he too was surprised that Leno‘s getting that nightly 10PM timeslot.

– The next edition of The Real World, The Real World: Cancun, debuts on MTV on June 24. It’s the show’s 22nd season.

– Even reality TV stars are haggling for more money. The New York Post reports that the Real Housewives of New York City want more than the $50,000 per episode they received for season two (up from $5,000 per ep for season one). Whaddaya think? Are they worth it?

– Wanna keep up with all those celebrities are Tweeting about? E! will begin running a crawl of celebrities’ Twitter postings at the bottom of the screen during its programming.

– Just what every desk needs: a Jeff Probst bobblehead.

– TBS might save My Name Is Earl.

– Chuck creator Josh Schwartz says not to worry about those rumored cast cuts; he thinks we won’t even be able to tell where the budget cuts are being made when we watch the show next season.

– MacGruber, the movie, is an idea whose time should definitely come.

– At least Ryan Seacrest warned viewers last night to put extra time at the end of their TiVos for tonight’s American Idol season finale, but isn’t it still ridiculous that an episode that really boils down to one 30-second announcement of who the winner is, is instead so bloated that it can’t even be contained into a two-hour block?

– By the way, DiaIdol.com predicts last night’s Adam vs. Kris showdown is too close to call. People, did you not hear Adam sing “A Change Is Gonna Come”? It really should not be this close.

– The New York Times jokes, I think, that Jimmy Kimmel might not have a job today after the naughty, but hilarious, riffs on NBC, Fox and his own network at yesterday’s ABC Upfront presentation.

– And Kimmel’s remarks about the new Jay Leno primetime series apparently weren’t that far off from what some at NBC might have thought. Leno, it turns out, was NBC’s third choice to host a nightly primetime show, after Oprah and David Letterman.

– Can’t wait for the remake of Footloose with Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford as Ren McCormack.

– In case you missed the premiere of Glee last night, you can catch the episode at Hulu today.

– Lifetime.com, pegged to the June 7 season three premiere of Army Wives, has produced more than a dozen videos, collected as Homecoming: Real Army Wives, that pay homage to real-life Army wives, whose husbands have been deployed for 15 months or more in Iraq.

– Check out clips from ABC’s new comedies, including Modern Family, the mockumentary-ish family comedy starring Ed “Al Bundy” O’Neill.

– Even the most devoted Trekkies may find the new “video-based encyclopedia” of behind-the-scenes Star Trek info a bit daunting.

– Neil Patrick Harris is hosting the Tonys. Might have to actually watch them this year.

– I still think giving Jay Leno a nightly 10PM timeslot is one of the worst decisions in the history of TV, but it is nice that he’s hosting new Tonight Show host Conan O’Brien on his own final Tonight Show episode.

– Janeane Garofalo won’t return to 24 next season. Oh no. That’s … so sad?

– In addition to Michael Ian Black and Michael Showalter‘s July series Michael & Michael Have Issues, Comedy Central’s line-up of upcoming series includes animated shows with Jamie Foxx and Judah Friedlander, a sketch comedy series with Andy Dick and a comedy that will be penned by Ice Cube and DJ Pooh, the first time the duo has co-written a script since Friday.

– Let the spoilers begin to trickle out: Even though the Nip/Tuck series finale won’t air until sometime in 2010, it will be filmed next month in Los Angeles.

– The Daytime Emmy nominations were announced, and Cash Cab, one of the coolest shows on the tube, and host Ben Bailey received nods.

– Marie Osmond will definitely be back on the tube next fall, hosting her own talk show. Hopefully not wearing that creepy babydoll costume she sported on Dancing With the Stars.

– Laguna Beach star Kristin Cavallari has apparently given up on a real acting career: she’s headed to The Hills to replace Lauren Conrad, her former love rival on Laguna.

– And Kate Gosselin‘s brother has joined the crowd of people calling the Jon & Kate Plus 8 couple a sham. With family like this, who needs tabloid reporters?

– Tough Love will be back for another season on VH1.

– Mel Gibson, Lyle Lovett, Sarah McLachlan, Prince, Billy Crystal and Dwight Yoakam are among Jay Leno‘s guests for his final week as host of The Tonight Show. He’ll announce his very last guest during a press conference on May 14.

– Can’t wait for next week’s Real Housewives of NYC reunion, where there will be verbal smackdowns aplenty.

– OK, maybe there is a reason to watch the fifth season debut of Jon & Kate Plus 8 on May 25: Reportedly, the duo will address those rampant infidelity stories during the premiere.

– Will Kiefer Sutherland‘s alleged headbutting incident mean more jail time, and a possible delay in production on the next season of 24, for the star? I’m waiting to hear his side of things.

– ABC has launched a new Music Lounge, where you can hear tunes that are featured in the network’s shows, like Grey’s Anatomy, Ugly Betty and Scrubs. Here’s hoping all the networks jump on that idea – I don’t even know how many songs I’ve bought on iTunes after hearing them in an episode of Scrubs.

– Aisha Tyler is the latest D-lister to sign on to host a talk show pilot.

– Britain’s Got Talent and Internet sensation Susan Boyle will appear on Monday’s Oprah, with Simon Cowell.

– Major Charles Winchester, a.k.a. M*A*S*H star David Ogden Stiers, has outed himself.

– And, despite recent hints that she may be, NPH says Stella (Sarah Chalke) isn’t the mother of Ted’s children on How I Met Your Mother.
