– So many TV shows are headed to the big screen, but here’s the flip side: ABC is turning the angsty ’80s Brat Pack drama St. Elmo’s Fire into a weekly series.
– More big screen-to-boob tube news: Kate Winslet is going to star in an HBO miniseries remake of Mildred Pierce, the 1945 movie that nabbed an Oscar for Joan Crawford.
– How I Met Your Mother‘s fifth season, which premieres on CBS on Sept. 21, will include a musical installment to celebrate the show’s 100th episode. Bring it on, NPH.
– The first guest on The Jay Leno Show when it premieres on Sept. 14: Jerry Seinfeld.
